Struggle Everyday
Just finished a rather tiring but very good Navajo lesson with both the computer program and with my mom. We are going to be gone for the rest of the week starting tomorrow and she has agreed (I hope!) to speak to me in mainly Navajo while we are gone. Since it's somewhat apparent that my grandma probably won't help that much with teaching me Navajo. This past weekend we had a party for her and when I tried to talk to her in Navajo she barely understood me, saying my accent was too heavy, and dismissed me from talking to her. So, my mom and I both agreed that she probably wouldn't want to try and help me further my studying. But my mom has been very helpful and patient with my stumbling, so that's nice, just wish it wasn't so intimidating to approach a pro like grandma but nonetheless I'm happy at least my mom knows the language.
